Synthesis of fullerenes (C60, C70) and portland cement modification by fullerenes to create frost-resistant concrete

This paper considers a method of synthesis of fullerenes and carbon nanotubes at atmospheric pressure. The paper discusses the method of synthesis of helium at pressure of 105 Pa. Dependence of yield of fullerenes and carbon nanotubes on the buffer gas pressure is shown. It has been revealed that the fullerene yield increases with the increase of pressure. The use of carbon nanomodifiers in the modification of the construction is promising since their introduction significantly improves the physical- mechanical properties using a small quantity of additives. With the introduction of the carbon nanomodifier the porosity of cement stone decreases, that leads to high strength and frost-resistant indicators of the modified cement.
