New compounds La6Ca4(GeO4)6O (I) and La6Sr4(GeO4)6O (II) were prepared and identified. Compound I has the structure of apatite: a = 9.865 (4) A, с = 7.206 (1) A, V= 607.3 (2) A3, and compound II has the structure of apatite a = 10.092 (4) A, с = 7.373 (1) A, V= 650.4 (2) A3.
