Synthesis and crystal structure of the new triple molybdate Cs2MnZr2(MoO4)6

Subsolidus phase relations in the Cs2MoO4-МnMoO4-Zr(MoO4) system were determined. Triple molybdates Cs2МnZr(MoO4)4 and Cs2МnZr2(MoO4)6 were synthesized. Cs2MnZr2(MoO4)6 single-crystal has been studied by X-ray method. Cs2MnZr2(MoO4)6 crystallizes in the space group R`3 with unit cell parameters: a = 13.4322(2) Å, c = 12.2016(3) Å, Z = 3 (R = 0.0367) and this has been new structure type. The structure of the Cs2MnZr2(MoO4)6 have the 3D complex skeleton from МоO4-tetraedra connected via common vertices and (Мn, Zr)O6-octaedra. Cesium cations are located in large channels.
