Synthesis of lead molybdate PbMoO4 by sputtering of Pb and Mo ion beams

The article discusses the synthesis of thin films of lead molybdate PbMoO4 by sputtering with ion beams. We have proposed a technique for growing thin films of PbMoO4 by independently sputtering two targets (Pb and Mo) with the formation of streams of particles incident on the surface of the substrate, where the synthesis of lead molybdate occurs. It is assumed that this method of forming flows of gaseous particles of lead and molybdenum towards the substrate, followed by annealing the resulting films in an atmosphere, leads to the formation of stoichiometric thin films of lead molybdate. We have calculated the coefficients of target sputtering by Ar+ argon ion beams using the MathCad mathematical program, and suggested optimal modes of growth processes.
