Syntesis of cellulose derivatives containing phosphate, amino and mercapto groups

We investigated the use of tosyl cellulose for deoxyamino cellulose, deoxymerkapto cellulose derivatives and water-soluble cellulose phosphate by the reaction of intermolecular nucleophilic substitution. Preparations with the maximum content of nitrogen 5.1, 18.7 sulfur, 19.5% phosphorus were obtained.
