System of formation of abilities of students-vocalists to jazz improvisation

The article deals with the problem of formation of abilities to jazz vocal improvisation. The need to study this problem is due to the search for ways to achieve musical expression by the performer and the need to develop methods of their development in the process of professional training of students-vocalists. The system of formation of abilities to jazz improvisation at students of variety vocalists during professional training at the Samara state Institute of culture is presented. It is proved that the system of formation of abilities to jazz improvisation of students-vocalists solves problems of vocal and jazz training of students of the variety direction.
