The system of ecological education in a professional educational organization as a condition for the formation of ecological competencies of students

At the present stage of society development, ecological problems come to the fore, the consequences of which are becoming increasingly alarming. In this regard, the search for new forms and methods that ensure the formation of environmental awareness, conscious and responsible attitude to nature does not lose relevance. The article considers the need to form not only professional, but also ecological competencies in professional educational organizations to solve environmental problems. One of the conditions for the formation of ecological competencies is ecological education. The review and analysis of scientific and pedagogical literature, including studies on the implementation of ecological education and the formation of ecological competencies, made it possible to identify the main areas of ecological education: informational and educational, activity-practical, value-motivational, communication. The above-mentioned areas became the basis of the ecological education system “Municipal Ecological Vseobuch”, aimed at forming environmental competencies of students in the “Miass Geological Prospecting College”, and defined the objectives of its work. Teachers of educational organizations, college students, schoolchildren, parents, employees of business entities and environmental enterprises of the Miass Urban District take part in the activities of the “Municipal Ecological Vseobuch”. During the work of the “Municipal Ecological Vseobuch” environmental events are held in the selected areas - lectures, talks, exhibitions, excursions, quizzes, events, clean-up days, etc. The formed and permanent environmental volunteer squad of students and teachers of the “Most” college allows its members to gain real practical experience of participation in ecological practice-oriented activities. The analysis of the events held allowed us to identify a number of problems that hinder the effective development of ecological education, as well as ways to solve them, presented in the conclusions of the article.
