The system of criteria and resulting indicators for performance evaluation effectiveness of the activities of defense industry enterprises

Today, many enterprises in the leading sectors of the Russian economy are forced to carry out their activities in the face of rapidly changing environmental factors, the negative impact of sanctions restrictions, and increased competition. To counteract these factors, as well as the negative impact of sanctions restrictions on the development of the Russian economy, a set of sectoral import substitution strategies has been developed. The successful implementation of the strategies will largely depend on the efficient operation of enterprises in its leading sectors. The current situation indicates the relevance of the topics chosen for research. Given the presence of numerous features of the organization of production at industrial enterprises of the Russian economy, the main goal of this study was to assess the effectiveness of the activities of enterprises of the military-industrial complex (MIC) as one of its leading sectors. The article substantiates the importance of evaluating the effectiveness of the activities of defense industry enterprises for its development as one of the leading sectors of the Russian economy, and also proposes a system of criterion and resulting indicators to obtain evaluation characteristics. Of course, this system is not exhaustive even for defense industry enterprises, since it does not take into account the full range of features of their functioning, not to mention other sectors of the Russian economy. At the same time, the proposed system may well find its practical application in many defense industry enterprises, as well as in other sectors of the Russian economy, to assess the effectiveness of their activities.
