Turkmenistan medical education system and its development paths

Medical education system is an integral part of the public health system in Turkmenistan. Both quality of medical care to be provided to population and ultimately the nation's health highly depend on the level of the medical education quality. This article presents a review of current status of medical education system and identifies the possible ways for its development at all educational levels - from education for medical nurses to learning throughout the life course.
