Product traceability system as a way to combat counterfeit products

The goods traceability system maintained by the Federal Customs Service of Russia is aimed at minimizing the possible risks of importing counterfeit products into the territory of the EAEU. The article provides an overview of the main elements of the goods traceability system, as well as an analysis of the dynamics of the import of counterfeit products into Russia. In conclusion, the main problems experienced by the customs service in the fight against counterfeit products are given, as well as recommendations for the development of this mechanism.
