System of Russian mass information communications: regulation by internal affairs bodies

The article presents the results of the study of mass information communications of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation; substantiates the actuality of the problem in the conditions of the information society; shows the difficulties of the service of police officers due to mass information communications; reveals the features of conducting professionally prepared information and psychological warfare against the Russian law enforcement sphere; argues the fact insufficient scientific development of ways of interaction between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the institutes of mass communications; centralization of information communications management in the law enforcement sphere is predicted; predicts the need for legislative strengthening of formal control over the content of media broadcasts in order to counter extremist activity, terrorism, corruption; facts of historical mistakes in the management of the law enforcement sphere that led to past Russian public cataclysms are reported, and ways to protect information communications of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation are proposed ; the content of the regulatory legal framework regulating mass communications in the law enforcement sphere is analyzed, gaps are identified and, as a result, negative strategic consequences for the work of the police institution are declared.
