The article is devoted to the specifics of building a personnel management system at domestic industrial enterprises. Among the most important factors determining the socio-economic development of an enterprise, human resources occupy a central place, being a fundamental condition for the development of a modern organization, competitiveness, the effective functioning of an innovative economy and the transition to the next technological structure. In the work, the role of personnel in the results of the industrial enterprise is determined, a characteristic of a new concept of personnel management is given.
