Project management system and its role in economic development

Project management is becoming a real part of the mechanism for implementing Russia's socioeconomic policy and the strategic development of its regions and individual business units. Economic development can be considered at various levels (macro, meso, micro). At the same time, development at these levels is interdependent and interdependent. This also applies to project activities, which act as a mechanism for such development. At the upper level, there are federal and regional projects, at the lower level, entrepreneurial and organizational projects. At the upper level, these are large projects, which are understood as infrastructure projects designed to create conditions for development, which is primarily associated with a person who, on the one hand, plays a certain role in these projects, and on the other hand, the projects are aimed at creating conditions for his life. At the federal and state levels, the implementation of projects requires more significant investments than at the micro level, but the latter are more often associated with private capital and require no less attention. Development institutions can and should play a certain role in attracting financial resources for projects at various levels. Public-private partnerships can become a driving force for the implementation of both large infrastructure and entrepreneurial projects. The purpose of this study is to define a comprehensive structure for managing project activities to achieve economic development goals.
