The system of currency regulation and currency control of the Russian Federation in the digital economy: problems and prospects of development

Today an important element of ensuring economic security of the state is the system of currency regulation and currency control, aimed at protecting the national interests of the Russian Federation. But in the conditions of constant evolution of digitalisation and introduction of new digital telecommunications in all spheres of activity, including economic sector, introduction of electronic business and commerce, there is a risk of inconsistency of the system of currency regulation and control with the necessary level of functioning. This article analyses the current state of currency regulation and currency control carried out by the customs authorities of the Russian Federation in the period 2021-2023. The main problems are revealed and prospects of development are defined.
