System of national military management in Turkestan

This article will consider the system of "military-people's administration" introduced by the empire in this region from the second half of the 19th century with the annexation of the territory of Turkestan to the Russian Empire. The basic principles and peculiarities of the system of "military-people's administration" are defined in the regulations on the administration of Turkestan. The system of "military-people's administration" in Turkestan was reformed and actually existed until 1917. The implementation of this management system in Turkestan and its features are analyzed on the basis of historical sources.
