The article deals with non-material incentives, which implies actions to encourage or punish an employee without material costs on either side. It is shown that stimulation is an integral part of motivation, which, in turn, plays one of the leading roles in the personnel management system. The influence of the incentive system on securing specialists in the workplace is justified.
