Healthcare system in the territory of the RSFSR in 1945—1953: a historiographic review

The article deals with the healthcare system in the territory of the RSFSR in the first post-war years. The paper provides an overview of the scientific literature on this issue. The analysis of the studied works allows us to conclude that, despite the severe consequences of the Great Patriotic War, the healthcare system during the years of the restoration of the national economy developed in an ascending line. The quality of medical care determines the level of everyday life of citizens. In the first post-war years, the healthcare system throughout the USSR was in a state of extreme decline: the destroyed infrastructure, the famine of 1946—1947, the economic crisis, and other difficulties aggravated the general situation. The purpose of the article is to consider the health care system in the RSFSR in 1945—1953. Tasks of the work: 1) description of general trends in the field of healthcare and medicine in the RSFSR in the post-war years; 2) a review of works describing healthcare and medical care in the territories affected by occupation or from hostilities; 3) a review of works devoted to the situation in this area in the territories that did not directly suffer during the Great Patriotic War. The following methods were used in the study: historical- chronological, ideographic (descriptive), analysis, synthesis.
