The features of the distribution of minor elements are considered in the clay rocks of the Middle and Upper Carboniferous and Lower Permian of the northern part of the Ufa amphitheater relating to the flysch formation. The clay rocks of the Lower Permian interval are characterized by specialization in Cu, while for Moscovian stage deposits in Cr and Ni. We have concluded that source area of ultramafic rocks was being eroded only in the Moscovian stage. In the Early Permian volcanic rocks of basic composition were widely developed.
