Systematization of order-picking methods in warehouses

Due to the difficult economic situation that has occurred due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation in the world, the volume of the transport and logistics services market in Russia has significantly decreased. In the conditions of strong turbulence of the external environment, freight forwarders have to look for new ways of improving logistics activities. One of these areas was the modernization of warehouse operations, namely the process of picking goods. The implementation of the special order-picking methods using modern IT technologies significantly reduces the size of logistics costs.
