The article reveals the urgency of the problem of informational and psychological safety of a person and of identifying effective mechanisms of its maintenance at the present stage of social development. The proposed solution of the given problem is based on the system-value approach which assumes activization of internal resources of a person in the maintenance of his/her own informational and psychological safety.
