System and activity approach to teaching humanities subjects at school: status and prospects

The article examines the problems of approaches to teaching humanitarian subjects at school. We also consider the history of creating a systematic approach to learning and activity. In connection with the social introduction of the new Federal State Educational Standard (GEF), the system-activity approach aimed at the development of the individual, on the formation of a particular identity, philosophically based on the provision of correspondence of the educational activity of students of their age category. The task - the formation of knowledge in accordance with the new standards stands before the teachers. The very system-activity approach is the formation of the educational process, in which an important place is given to active and versatile employment of the student.
