The article considers the system and situational approach to professional training of the Internal Affairs agencies' officers within the professional reliability program. Basing on the national and foreign experience the author characterizes the main implementations of the system and situational approach to professional training, and attempts to outline the tendencies of the system and situational approach to professional training in the Russian MIA.
