System analysis of network political communication

The paper presents a system analysis of network political communication. The author’s definition of this concept, formulated on the basis of the concepts of network society and political communication, is given. The influence of modern communication technologies on such aspects of the political system as “input”, “output” and “feedback”, in the terminology of D. Easton, is considered. The work examines examples of actions, programs, concepts of Russian authorities and society in the field of using network forms of interaction with each other. It is concluded that, despite the fact that the spread of network forms of political communication has significant positive consequences: facilitating access to public discussion, increasing the degree of transparency of government actions, expanding opportunities for political participation; it also poses new challenges: the need to raise the level of political culture of society and the development of network communication skills among government officials.
