The system approach as a philosophical principle of the study of personal genesis in the urban space

The article discusses application of the system approach in the study of personal development in the urban environment. The acceptability of the system method in the socio-cultural structures is justified philosophically. Using the theory of A.I. Uyomov and I.V. Dmitrievskaya, the author considers the subject in the context of urbanization phenomena. A city and a person are interacting, but understanding of this process depends on the type of properties, relations and elements of the urban world.
