We present the results of using the system approach to assess the mental performance. The subsystems of the intencity of the work, the functional status and the recovery of the organism’s functions are revealed. The presence of the negative functional state, the chronic professional stress, is emphasized. The practical implementation of the preventive measures should be aimed at the increasing of efficiency and health of the workers.
