The systems of primary soil treatments and its influence on humification of soil

Different soil treatments and its influence on soil humification were studied in eight-field crop rotation in 1979-1992. There were used the following soil treatments: moldboard plowing (22-24 cm) - variant 1, minimal treatments (12-14 cm) - variant 2, without treatment - variant 3. The obtained data showed that the biggest mineralization of humus was in variant 1 - 135 centners ha-1, and humus balance was 3.3 centers ha-1. In energy-efficient treatments (variants 2, 3) humus mineralization decreased on 2.7 and 14.6%, respectively, and humus balance was positive +2.2 and + 9.2 centners ha-1, respectively to the variant.
