Systems of half hip roofs in Kareilan dwellings and cross border regions of Russian north

The article deals with the problem of half hip roofs as a consistent construction technique used to build the top of the building with dominant framework walls. These types of constructions were characteristic of national wooden architecture. An attempt is made to systemize a variety of the log gables of the roofs and to identify priority variants.
