Situational modeling in the investigation of crimes related to terrorism financing

The relevance of this research topic is directly related to the current situation in the country and in the world. Since terrorism has acquired a global, international character, in order to counter terrorism, the international community has taken a number of measures to combat its financing. The article deals with some issues related to the term "terrorism financing". The possibilities of the method of situational modeling in the investigation of crimes related to terrorism financing are revealed. The authors view criminal psychological types and criminal behavior of persons who committed terrorism financing. Psychotypological approach in the system of forensic knowledge remains one of the most promising research areas in forensic science. The authors believe that the findings of this research can be used by practitioners in the investigation of criminal cases under Art. 205.1 of the Criminal Code of Russia.
