Situation analysis as a method of social research of a causal complex of crime

The article provides analysis method for causal complex of crime based on the concept dealing with crime as a kind of social activity with its peculiar regularities. Crime is in interrelation and interdependence with the specified social situation, by which is meant a set of circumstances that determine its state in a certain period of time. This interaction takes place at three levels: general social, group and personal.
