In accordance with established methodology in criminology, the situational approach is one of the fundamental methods for solving the problems of preliminary investigation, it is directly related to the forensic thinking of the investigator and it is the basis for making tactical decisions in accordance with the tactical tasks of the investigation. The development of known positions and foundation to further positions that determine both the theoretical and practical significance of this approach is an urgent forensic task, according to which it is possible to improve known recommendations and consider new forensic recommendations for private forensic methods of crime investigation.
