On the basis of epitope analysis of viral polypeptides with the use of monoclonal antibodies the authors developed the method of solid-phase immunoenzymatic analysis (SP IEA) for detection and differentiation of the group specific agents of bluetongue virus in different virus containing solutions, blood samples and sick animals organs. The data presented on efficiency, sensitiveness and specificity of sandwich-method of SP IEA for detection of non-structural polypeptide NS1 and polypeptide VP7 of virus internal capsid. It was shown that developed method permit to reveal and distinguish bluetongue virus from closely-related viruses.
