Henry Miller’s surrealism and metaphor

The article is devoted to the creative work of an American novelist, essayist and artist, Henry Valentine Miller. Much attention is paid to surrealistic ideas in his novels, Black Spring in particular. Paradox and metaphor can be considered key features of his work. Metaphors, based on bizarre images, allusions attribute him to the language experimentalists of that time.
