Mowing, irrigation and culture feeding of long-term lawns in Western Siberia

Results of researches on height and sequence of sloping, methods of watering and top dressing by mineral fertilizers of long-term lawns from a meadow grass meadow and white bent, used as a part of landscape compositions in the conditions of Siberia are presented. It is elucidated that to mow these species of herbs, at their use for creation of lawns, it is better with a height of herbage of 6-10 cm by 4-5 cm. In the spring, when renewing vegetation of plants, and after each mowing of herbage in combination with watering to feed up nitrogenous fertilizers (N30). Such mode of use and care of a lawn allows herbs quickly and evenly to grow after mowing, at the expense of an intensive tillering to form the dense, high decorative quality grases herbage. Application of fractional nitric top dressing (N30 in the spring + N30 after each mowing) in combination with watering promotes formation of the dense (12737-16121 provines/sq.m) of grases herbage of the superior and excellent quality estimated on a 30-mark scale from 28,0 to 30,0 points.
