Investigative mistake: to the question of the definition

In this article the investigative mistake as the phenomenon undertaking scientific and forensic study is considered. Results of the analysis of approaches of a number of authors to definition of this concept are given in the article. The categories which are most closely connected with this concept are considered. As a result of such research authors offer the definition to this concept for further scientific study of the phenomenon of investigative mistake.
