Investigative examination of the human body: practical and technological aspects

The article analyzes certain criminal procedural and forensic issues that arise in the law enforcement practice of the investigative inspection of the human body. The authors distinguish between investigative and medical forms of examination of the human body. The medical form is regulated by the norms of medical law. This is an analogue of forensic examination, which is beyond the scope of criminal procedure. At the same time technological recommendations are formulated for the preparatory, cognitive and fixation stages of the inspection of the human body. The clear and correct implementation of such recommendations helps to solve the problems of examining the human body and will also create the necessary foundation for using the results obtained in the proof in a criminal case.
