Complex sentences with attributive subordinates in Russian and Dari languages

Бесплатный доступ

The paper is devoted to the contrastive analysis of complex sentence structures with attributive subordinates in the Russian and Dari languages (exemplified mainly by by-substantial relative structures expressing attributive relations). Structural uniqueness of the Russian and Dari relative complex sentences is shown to be determined by the fact that these languages belong to different grammar types: to the synthetic and analytic one, correspondingly. In some cases the structural peculiarities of New Persian and Russian relative constructions are examined from the point of their genesis, when hypotactic indicators in both languages were developed on the bases of Indo-European K-pronouns.
