Difficulties of e-government implementation in Russia

The article deals with formation of e-government in the Russian Federation and the main current problems hindering its development. It is concluded that the modern state needs to apply the information and communication technologies in order to increase transparency of public authorities' work. The author considers if it is possible to correct the Russian e-government system, as well as if the government can use social networks with a wide audience.
