A case of coronary artery aneurism development in a child with Kawasaki disease

The article describes a clinical case of coronary artery aneurysm development in a 6-year-old child with Kawasaki disease. Medical case history testifies that disease was acute. After recovery, ultrasonic encephalography was performed, which revealed an aneurysm of the left coronary artery up to 5.1 mm with an aneurysm extending over 1 cm. Examination in the subacute period revealed SARS-CoV-2 IgG antibodies. We believe that in this case, multisystem inflammatory syndrome cannot be ruled out.
