The case of an amyand hernia, complicated by a retroperitoneal hematoma and a hemoperitoneum

The article discusses the clinical case of right-sided inguinal hernia containing the Appendix in a 63-year-old man. The diagnosis of a hernia Amyand was installed during the surgery, an appendectomy and a herniotomy was made from a single access. The postoperative period was complicated by an intraabdominal bleeding, which caused the development of a hemoperitoneum and a retroperitoneal hematoma formation. Despite the late diagnosis developed complications, the disease ended well. The clinical diagnostic features of a hernia Amyand, which is a rare disease, therefore the disease is of interest to practicing surgeons.
