Rumors as the reason for the February revolution of 1917

The article is devoted to a critical analysis of the new version of the February revolution, presented in the papers of historian V.B. Aksenov. The essence of this version is that the reason for the revolutionary explosion was the "absurd rumor" about the authorities' intention to limit the consumption of bread in Petrograd. It is shown that the author's conclusions are based on ignoring of important historical sources.
