The main attention in the article is focused on the fact that at present, the development of a curriculum that contributes to the effective, proper education and training of police officers is becoming increasingly important. In carrying out their official activities, police officers may come into conflict with dangers of various kinds, where there is a real risk of receiving various harms to health. In doing so, they should strive to minimize any damage. That is why the employees of the internal affairs bodies need to know well and have not only formal, legal preparedness, but also have sufficient practical skills in the effective and lawful use of combat techniques and service weapons. Consequently, the requirements for employees of the internal affairs bodies, during their training, are quite high, reliable and as productive as possible.
