This article emphasizes why in the era of globalization, human resources are considered as a source of competitive advantage. Therefore, the aim of the work is to show that human resource management is important for ensuring the success of any organization based on the conviction that a company gains a competitive advantage through the effective and efficient use of the activities of its employees. With regard to the new task of HRM, the article attempts to determine whether HRM can be considered as a source of competitive advantage for firms. Finally, the result of this study emphasizes the value of human resources (HR) and its strategic activities, which affect organization performance and competitiveness.
