Blended learning of mathematics: practice outstripped theory

The article presents the analysis of the traditional and electronic-distant models of learning, different foreign and local models of blended learning in schools and universities, and also the issues of designing, inventing and implementation of the model of blended learning in relation to teaching mathematics to students of engineering and science majors in universities. It also defines the key general components in all these models, as well as the initial conditions for the formation of the model of blended learning.
