“I watch a French dream with abundance of times”: the image of Napoleon and the image of power in the lyrics of V. S. Vysotsky

The article shows that Vysotsky has several texts, where Napoleon is mentioned. All these texts were related to issues of power and, as a rule, directed against totalitarianism. In addition, the image of Napoleon was given from various temporal points of view, specifically, in comparison with the figures of the distant past, his contemporaries, figures of the future (for example, Stalin).
