The meaning of history in religious and philisophical understanding

The article focuses on the analysis of the complex process caused by the changes in the geopolitics of Russia in the light of which the meaning of history is considered today as the problem of being relevant to it in the formation of the global ethos. The “clock” of the world seems to go right: from the East to the West, but the religion of Christianity acts from the West to the East. What is then the meaning of changes, where and in which form is expressed the process of its inclusion in the cultural-scientific paradigm which is so important for the world in order to make influence on the ethos and the normal solutions of the World-system? But the practice shows that the question about the meaning of history relates not only to religion but also to «the circle of the eternal problems» of philosophy. If there were an answer which might have suited philosophers for a long time, the problem would have been considered as a solved problem and it would have lost its status of an important one. But since history will go on, its practical problems, the contents of crises and their solutions will change, we can definitely suppose that no formula about the meaning of history will ever give a final answer, if the role of the Man, his right for life and his life program are not considered. Each individual has his ideals and vision of happiness of his family and his nation.
