The distance between man as the Church and the community as the Church, on the one hand, and the one catholic Church of Christ, on the other hand, was defined and explained theologically in our past articles. Te hierarchy of the heritage of the Church, including asceticism, the mysteries, and the catholic unity, presents this ecclesiological model with respect to the interior structure of the church, and, in this way, examines the way of the Church with respect to itself, taken as part of its internal permanence. Tis model, therefore, offers not a dynamic description of the way of the Church in church history (which is tightly connected with the external world and its relationship with the Church), but a static principle of the Church’s internal structure and organization. In this article we will try to describe the way of the Church with respect to the external world. Tis requires us to present not a static ecclesiological model, but one that accounts for historical dynamics. Te historical way of the Church in its relationship with the external world has its own logic and laws, which describe both the visible triumph of the Church and its kenosis. Te present article introduces the topic of the historiosophy of the Church.
