The life of a child is presented as the activity of continuous development of «natural objectness», placed in various emotional contexts and implemented in a fundamentally mythological way. The article considers the work of children's fantasy as the main tool for the child's development through subjectively born senses. Appealing to the works of H. Hesse, the author proves that each child creates an absolutely individual mythosemantic profile of the cultural world, when the appropriation of common cultural codes occurs through the creation of an individual mythosemantic profile of these codes. The article explains the role and functions born of children's fantasy of «phantoms» («gray men», «carlsons», «homes», etc.) in the life of a child.
