The article presents an analysis of approaches formed by various fields of Humanities to the consideration of the concept of “artistic space”. At the beginning of the article, the author gives an interpretation of the terms “concept” and “art space”. Next, we consider various approaches to the analysis of "art space” with the reconstruction of the semantic field inherent in this humanitarian direction. In art history, art space is interpreted as the space of an artistic work, and its components are perspective, depth, and composition. Further, the author analyzes the art space as an organization of the artistic process, as art history (styles, directions), as text (language, symbol, encoding). It is emphasized that the semantic field of the concept “art space” correlates with the research tasks of the scientific direction. However, despite the difference in the problems studied by each of the humanitarian directions, the consideration of the formed approaches to the analysis of the concept of "artistic space” allows us to conclude that there are similar content and structural elements in it (artistic, space, composition, depth, etc.). In conclusion, the author concludes that an interdisciplinary approach is heuristic in analyzing the semantic field and structure of the concept “art space”, which allows us to identify the correlation of both the structural components of the concept and its relationship with other concepts.
