Semantic potential of a genre of mono-opera: limits and prospects

The article considers a hypothesis according to which the mono-opera genre, still relatively young and having a small list of known samples, has the extensive semantic potential based on the apperception phenomenon. Semantic potential of the mono-opera is presented by a number of complexes of semantic areas, only one of which is related to the esthetics of solitude. The monoopera as a genre model is based on the monologue nature combining the reflection of internal psychological processes and responses to extrinsic stimuli (dialogue with a virtual interlocutor, virtual stimuli).
