Meaningful life orientations as a factor in countering the victimization of youth

The article analyzes the connections between the components of life sense orientations and the level of realized victimization. The hypothesis of the existence of abfeedback link between the meaningfulness of life and the realized victimization of personality is confi rmed. Additionally, the interrelations between humanistically oriented values (self-development, relationships, creativity, education, etc.) and the expression of meaningful life orientations were found.The results of the study confi rm the conclusions of other authors that the development of meaningful life orientations and the development of humanistic values among young people can serve as an effective tool for the prevention of victimization, as well as contribute to improving the level of psychological well-being. The practical signifi cance of the research is due to the need for indepth study of the topic of semantic orientations and their connection with victimization, as well as further identifi cation of the main semantic values of young people, in order to develop programs aimed at developing positive attitudes and meaningfulness of life, as well as the orientation of value orientations. The prospect of clarifying the list of key values in the context of meaning formation is to optimize preventive work with young people.
